Tania G

Tania G is an accomplished Australian singer-songwriter, worship leader, and vocal coach whose music career spans more than two decades. Known for her powerful voice and heartfelt approach to songwriting, Tania seamlessly blends contemporary gospel, pop, and R&B influences to create music that uplifts, encourages, and points listeners toward faith and hope. Born into a deeply musical family, Tania's love for music began early. Her mother was a professional jazz and pop singer in Sri Lanka, while her father sang in a vocal group, creating a home filled with music and creativity. After migrating to Australia, the family's passion for music continued, with church choirs, family bands, and live performance becoming an important part of Tania's formative years.

Inspired by iconic vocalists such as Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin, and CeCe Winans, she developed a love for expressive singing and meaningful songwriting. Tania released her debut EP in 2000 before independently releasing her first full-length album What Really Matters in 2003. Her follow-up album Lay It All Down produced the Christian radio favourites Lay It All Down and I Still Believe, both reaching the Top 20 most-played songs on Australian contemporary Christian radio. Over the years she has continued to release music while balancing family life, ministry, vocal coaching, and mentoring emerging artists.

Having performed on major Australian platforms including Good Morning Australia, Carols by Candlelight, and appearances with the Melbourne Gospel Choir, Tania remains committed to using her gifts to inspire others and share messages of God's faithfulness, love, and hope.
