Ben Abraham

Ben Abraham is a Melbourne-born singer-songwriter whose deeply personal music has earned him international recognition as both an artist and one of Australia's most accomplished songwriters. Blending indie folk, alternative pop, and cinematic storytelling, Ben has built a career defined by lyrical honesty, emotional depth, and songs that explore faith, identity, love, and resilience. Beginning as an independent artist, Ben successfully crowdfunded his debut album Sirens before signing with acclaimed US label Secretly Canadian.

He later joined Atlantic Records, releasing his sophomore album Friendly Fire, an intensely personal project reflecting on his journey of reconciling his Christian faith with his identity as a queer man. Following his departure from the label, Ben returned to independent music-making, embracing a new season of creative freedom and authenticity. Alongside his solo career, Ben has become one of Australia's most celebrated songwriting exports. He co-wrote Kesha's Grammy-nominated anthem Praying, as well as songs recorded by Ben Platt, Demi Lovato, Sara Bareilles, The Chicks, Macklemore, Wafia, Corook, and many others.

His songwriting achievements earned him APRA's Overseas Recognition Award, cementing his reputation as a world-class songwriter.
