Welcome to another episode of the Aus Music Showcase, your go-to program for the best in music from Australian Christian musicians. Each week, we bring you inspiring stories, uplifting songs, and the artists behind them.

This week we’re featuring an Australian artist making waves internationally, celebrating some exciting new Australian releases, and shining a spotlight on one of Western Australia’s most exciting emerging voices.

🎤 Meet Our Co-Host: PARISIAN

PARISIAN (Jeremy Fowler) is a soulful pop artist originally from Australia and now based in New York, known for his emotionally rich sound that blends intricate guitar work with soaring, cinematic vocals.

Before launching PARISIAN, Jeremy was the founder and frontman of the band New Empire, a project that toured globally for over a decade. During that time, the band achieved international success with songs charting in ten countries, amassing more than 50 million YouTube views, and gaining placements across major platforms including hit Korean television dramas and the London Olympic Games.

As PARISIAN, Jeremy has continued to evolve his artistry, stepping into a more soulful, pop-driven direction that highlights both vulnerability and scale. His debut EP Lion and the Beggar has earned millions of streams worldwide and received notable placement support, including the film My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 and major Spotify playlists such as Mellow Pop.

At the heart of PARISIAN’s music is a focus on emotional storytelling, human connection, and timeless songwriting. Drawing from both classic soul influences and contemporary production, his music feels both nostalgic and modern. Currently preparing his debut full-length album, PARISIAN continues to explore new creative territory while crafting songs that connect deeply with listeners around the world.

🌟 One to Watch: Drea

✨ My One To Watch this week is Perth-based artist Drea.

Blending gospel, R&B, soul, hip-hop and pop influences, Drea is one of the most exciting voices emerging from Western Australia’s music scene. Growing up singing in church and immersed in gospel music from a young age, she has developed a sound that’s uniquely her own, drawing inspiration from artists like Tori Kelly, Frank Ocean, and Ariana Grande while staying deeply connected to her roots.

Drea has steadily built a reputation as a standout talent, earning multiple Western Australian Music Award nominations and sharing stages with internationally recognised artists including UB40, Billy Ocean, Six60, Drax Project, Jordan Rakei, and Nubya Garcia. Many listeners will also recognise her from Australian Idol in 2024, where her incredible vocal ability introduced her to audiences across the country.

Recent releases including Keep It Moving and My Girls showcase a fresh blend of R&B grooves, soulful melodies, and uplifting energy. With world-class vocals, a growing national profile, and a sound that feels both contemporary and authentic, Drea is absolutely one to watch.
